From November 28-29, 2022, is taking place the first international conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and India “Armenia-India. New impetus for millennial relations”, organized by the RA MFA and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences.
The agenda of the discussions is very rich from historical ties to bilateral relations and global challenges of our time. As the first Ambassador of Armenia to India, Armen Baibourtian, noted, the main factor of the Armenian-Indian relations is that India considers Armenia as a natural ally. India understands the importance of Armenia, which is at the crossroads of East and West. India has become the fifth economy in the world, and in 10 years has become one of the main actors in world politics. Along with the growing influence of New Delhi in the world, relations with Armenia are also being strengthened.
